Digium Hybrid Interface Cards

Digium hybrid interface cards or the HX8 Series is a family of versatile interface cards used to connect with the PSTN. HX8 cards support analogue lines connected to trunk (FXO) interfaces, analogue handsets connected to station (FXS) interfaces, and digital lines connected to ISDN BRI interfaces. The HX8 Series supports all  three types of connectivity on a single card through the use of Digium’s specialised telephony modules for FXO, FXS and BRI. Used in conjunction with Asterisk, the HX8 series cards can deliver a wide range of voice applications including IP PBX, VoiP Gateway, IVR platform, Conference Bridge, Voicemail, and more.

The hybrid HX8 Series cards are half-length, full-height cards and are available in universal 3.3/5.0V PCI format as HA8 Cards and in PCI-Express x1 format as HB8 Cards.

Digium Digital Interface Cards

Digium’s family of digital interface cards comprises mainly the TE series cards and are known for its reliability, high-performance and cost effectiveness. TE series cards  support E1 and T1 environments and are selectable on a per-card or per-port basis. This feature enables signalling translation between E1 and T1 equipment, and allows inexpensive T1 channel banks to connect with E1 circuits. The bus-mastering TE cards improve I/O speed over slave-only architectures, resulting in reduced CPU usages and increased card density per server. The cards also provide the power to interconnect traditional PBX systems with emerging VoIP technologies.

Digium Analogue Interface Cards

Digium analogue interface cards are developed for connecting VoIP to traditional telephony lines and phones through a PC. A cost-effective VoIP telephony system can be easily created using analogue interface cards along with Digium’s Asterisk software, standard PC platform, and the Linux operating system. Digium analogue interface cards utilise VoiceBus technology, which maximises system compatibility and prevents system conflicts.
